Thanks

Thank you to all who have shared your knowledge and advice regarding our palm trees. Your advice has been accepted in the spirit in which it was offered and we are doing everything we can to ensure that these lovely trees survive. I look forward to posting pics next spring of them.

If thats pinestraw around the trees.. better start putting some hard wood mulch.. It will hold heat pinestraw will not.

How hard does your ground freeze? I have experimented with smaller windmills here in SW Minnesota with no luck. I now hit the house plant department at Wal-Mart, Lowes and Home Depot every spring and buy feather palms.

What happened to this blog? It was just getting interesting and then BAM - not a word for 4 months.

What did you name the trees? How are they doing?

Im pretty sure I have left a couple comments for this site over the past few months, yet I do not see where they were posted. Is anyone checking this site anymore? Whats the deal?

There are alot of people who have interest in the outcome of this past winter. What survived, what didnt.. etc. Are you going to update this blog? Please let us know. Its now memorial day weekend, and were WELL on the way to summer, so you should have results by now. Thanks!
