It is an insane idea, and I'm glad you had it. I for one will find it ever so refreshing and tropical while sweating through another Iowa summer. These Palm Trees will change my mindset and make me a happy camper.
Now, where did I put my grass skirt and Pina Colada cup?
As a recent guest of this hotel all I can say is WOW! This place gives curb appeal a whole new meaning. Hotel accomodations and my dinner in Johnny's was first rate, perhaps equivelent to some 5 star establishments I have stayed at.
They just built a similar looking Holiday Inn near where I live and I'm pretty sure no one has looked twice at the palm trees. Pretty funny that this makes new in Iowa. :D
